Originals is launched to meet growing global demand for nature-based carbon removal across the Americas

Originals is Future Climate’s platform dedicated to the development, execution, and scaling of high-integrity forest restoration and carbon removal projects. Structured as a vertically integrated vehicle, the platform operates across the entire value chain—from project origination and development to on-the-ground implementation and commercialization—connecting nature, capital, and markets to enable solutions at scale.

The platform begins operations with a portfolio of approximately 12,000 hectares across seven regions in Brazil and Mexico, with the potential to plant more than 10 million trees and an estimated capacity to remove around 5 million tonnes of carbon over the projects’ lifecycle. Originals also holds long-term commercial agreements with global carbon market participants, reinforcing its delivery capacity and positioning within the voluntary carbon market.

By combining an established portfolio of nature-based assets with Future Climate’s expertise in execution, capital structuring, and market access, Originals is well positioned to meet the growing demand for high-integrity carbon solutions. With a focus on consolidating restoration clusters and expanding long-term projects, the platform aims to reach approximately 25,000 hectares of high-quality projects by 2035.
